Absolutely lovely cut and fit
I'm writing this review to help women make informed choices on sizing for these shorts since Kojo provide the reviews for all of the colours and styles under all of their shorts. Let me be clear, the sizing is VERY different between styles ( cut off & folded), and colours ( black or blue). I believe many of the reviews indicating to size down would be for the black and/ or cut off style. Background: I am 5"2, typically a size 8, but with recent weight gain pushing a size 10 in other brands. A size XS in Kojo skinny fit jeans and impact pants ( except black for which I'm a S). The dyes in the black shorts (and pants/ jeans) make the product much tighter. I recommended sizing up if youre purchasing the black cut off or folded shorts. However, I recommend sticking with your usual Kojo size if you're purchasing blue folded shorts. I have the black cut off shorts in a M and they fit perfect but show off much more leg than the folded (something to note if you're conscious of cellulite etc,). They are the only product I have in a M from Kojo, which is TWO sizes larger than my standard. I recently purchased the acid wash shorts sized up to a S following reviews ( and the find my fit guide), and they are quite baggy, I experience gaping when I sit, and gaping/ folding at the hips ( I have wide hips, so its not my body type). I will need to exchange these for an XS as they're too unflattering. Sure, if you like the baggy mum style fit, size up in the blue. If you're after something more flattering, stay true to your size. I dont own the cut off blue shorts but based on my experience I would size up to just 1 size, not 2 as I did with the extra tight black. Customers pay for returns/ exchanges, and that is just one of the reasons I implore Kojo to keep their reviews specific to the cut and colour of the product. Let's face it, customers purchase their clothes online based on reviews, none of us have time to message customer service and wait for a response, particularly at sale time when that can result in our size being sold out. I hope this review helps y'all in your sizing decision, because this kind of thing really frustrates me. I could have purchased another pair of pants with the amount of returns I've sent to Kojo because their reviews are shared between cuts and colours ( for pants AND shorts). Now, I give 3 stars for this reason. Otherwise, the shorts and pants are amazing fit once you find the right one, they are stretchy, comfortable and flattering overall. Obviously I'm a repeat customer, so I find their products to be quality and comfortable. What I don't like is the reviews not adequately reflecting the clothing that is being reviewed. Happy shopping!
The design will look very different to the model if you have slim thighs. The waist is quite fitted through to the hips but very loose around the thighs - I thought they’d be fitted all through. Also noted that it doesn’t suit someone with longer hips ie it will give you an all day wedgie. I’d say these are A-line shorts.

The shorts fit well. The legs are a bit big for my size but big is better than too small and I roll them up a bit they look okay.
I’m nearly 40 and for my entire denim short buying life I’ve never found a pair that fit me perfectly straight off the shelf. I’ve spent hundreds, maybe thousands, over my life having shorts modified to fit me. I am 5ft tall, with a teeny waist and a big bum and hips, and more recently a postpartum tummy. I couldn’t believe it when I got these, and they are a perfect fit! The waist looks small but is super stretchy, they hide my tummy well, bum pocket size and shape is very flattering. It’s nice heavy denim but with plenty of stretch. Also, I found the size calculator was bang on the money. Thanks so much for the shorts of my dreams 🤩
These are the best! I have two pairs of Kojo Fit jeans so wanted to give the shirts ago, and they did not disappoint! The perfect length and fit, snug at the waist, long enough without being too long, flattering on the thigh… I’ll be ordering another colour!
